Just a short drive over the North Causeway towards New Smyrna Beach you will find a quaint café with vivid ocean blue decor and an al fresco dining experience. Café Heavenly welcomes not only hungry veg beach goers, but canines as well.

Sebastian about to enjoy his refreshing Milkbone and frozen yogurt treat.

Café Heavenly, New Smyrna Beach
We sat outside with the dogs and the Café Heavenly staff came out to not only admire our furry companions, but to give them a treat as well. They gave them each a little cup of frozen yogurt with a Milkbone in it while we enjoyed our lunch.
Café Heavenly’s motto is “stay healthy,” with a menu focused on sandwiches, salads, wraps, soups, smoothies and gelato. My guest and I shared a cup of flavorful vegetarian style Cuban black bean soup. Although the soup was delicious, it came out only warm, not pipping hot. I also enjoyed the hummus and veggie roll-up on a spinach tortilla. It was a tasty combination of house-made hummus, crunchy almonds, warm rice, lettuce, black olives, sprouts and tangy herb vinaigrette. Other veg friendly menu items include:
